Our client is a sizable listed company in Hong Kong with significant investment in China.  They are seeking a high calibre candidate to base in Hong Kong and lead the financial/management reporting function for China business.    

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a small team to deliver the monthly management reporting, annual budget / forecast and long-term financial projection of the Group
• Handle financial issues related to the Group companies and review company level accounts
• Formulate Group finance policies and procedures to promote standardization of the Group
• Support interim / annual audits and results announcements of the Group
• Perform ad hoc assignments as required

 Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Finance / Accounting, Economics or related discipline
• Member of the HKICPA or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of relevant post qualification experience in listed / sizable organizations and work experience at group level is essential.  Experience in big four CPA firms is preferred
• With past experience  based in China is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Good command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua
• Willing to work under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Familiar with China accounting regulation is a must
