Responsibilities

• Identify learning and development needs, employees’ skills gaps and future learning requirements
• Provide professional advice on the right course of action and partner with business leaders to implement training plans, and deliver learning and development strategies
• Consider learning options such as coaching, mentoring, on-the-job training, classroom training, e-learning and simulation. Make recommendations to decision makers
• Identify external training partners, and co-ordinate the logistics of training sessions
• Regular review on the effectiveness of the training offerings delivered and propose any changes on the format / content of the training programs
• Develop and implement training plans including timelines, budget and facilitators
• Assist to manage training budgets and forecast current and future costs
• Maintain good relationship with local universities/academic institutions
• Administer training sponsorship process
• Prepare reports to senior management for all key aspects of learning and development initiatives and results
• Keep abreast of latest learning and development products and approaches and ensure all training initiatives are in accordance with best practice

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or relevant disciplines
• Minimum 6 years of Training and Development experience
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills in engaging staff from different levels
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and Mandarin is a plus
