Responsibilities

• Maintain and upkeep Mainland Tax and related regulatory requirements
• Evaluate impacts of new Tax Law and requirements and perform risk assessment on non-compliance
• Establish internal control and monitor Tax compliance of the Company’s entities in Mainland
• Analyze and advise tax planning for various business activities
• Coordinate with Finance teams on Mainland’s tax related issues and new regulations.  Support the Company’s Mainland entities to resolve tax issues.
• Review statutory reports per local statutory requirements of the Company
• Prepare and submit regular reports to Hong Kong Head Office; deal with external auditors and Tax bureaus on tax filings and responses to queries
• Work with Group Finance and stakeholders in coordinating and/or implementing certain group-wide initiatives and processes alignment and improvement
• Monitor changes and provide suggestions for compliance with accounting standards, tax law and listing requirements
• Assist the senior finance management to oversee accounting and financial management activities and ensure compliance with local statutory requirement for ad hoc projects.  Prepare budget, analysis, management reports and other ad hoc reports

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Finance / Accounting, Economics or related discipline
• Member of the HKICPA/ Certified Public Accountant of CICPA or equivalent
• At least 8 years of relevant post qualification experience in listed / sizable organizations and work experience on the Mainland is a must. Experience in big four CPA firms is preferred
• All-rounded experienced finance management with solid experience on Tax advisory
•  Experience in negotiate with Local Tax, State Tax or other statutory bodies is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of Mainland China operations, GAAPs, tax and relevant statutory rules and regulations
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is a must
