Responsibilities    

• Maintain and upkeep Finance related SOPs applicable to Mainland projects
• Co-ordinate workflow process review and advise potential process improvement or system enhancement from time to time
• Evaluate impacts of new accounting treatment and reporting standard applicable to Mainland ‘s entities and corporate consolidation. Monitor changes and provide suggestions for compliance with accounting standards, tax law and listing requirements
• Establish internal control and monitor compliance to reporting standards as well as company accounting policies of the Company’s entities in Mainland
• Work with Group Finance in coordinating and/or implementing certain group-wide initiatives and processes alignment and improvement
• Assist the senior finance management to oversee all accounting and financial management activities the Company’s operating entities on the Mainland and ensure compliance with local statutory requirements
• Prepare and submit monthly, interim, and annual group financial reporting packages to Hong Kong Head Office; and deal with the external auditors to complete the interim and annual audit
• Prepare budgets, management reports and other ad hoc reports
• Coordinate with the Company’s other operating entities on the Mainland on tax related issues and new regulations

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Finance / Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
• Member of the HKICPA/ Certified Public Accountant of CICPA or equivalent
• At least 8 years of relevant post qualification experience in listed / sizable organizations and work experience on the Mainland is a must. Experience in big four CPA firms is preferred
• All-rounded experienced finance management with hand-on Mainland tax exposure
• Experience in ERP and system implementation is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of Mainland China operations, GAAPs, tax and relevant statutory rules and regulations
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is a must
