Our client is a sizable Hong Kong listed company with significant investment in China. They are seeking a high calibre candidate to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the team to source/procure a wide range of goods and services, ensure the best value is obtained, commercial risk is controlled, and regulatory compliance is achieved
• Review current policy/procedure, identify improvement opportunities, make recommendations for change and execute the change.
• Develop KPI, dashboard and track performance for the team in the region
• Identify potential supply risks with mitigation plan 
• Engagement of stakeholders to understand their needs and develop sourcing plan to fulfill the needs
• Lead and implement strategic sourcing/cost saving initiatives 
• Be a strong change agent 
• Perform ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related disciplines
• Chartered member of CIPS, Project Management or similar professional qualification is an added advantage
• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in a sizable organization/MNCs 
• Experience in e-Procurement implementation, process re-engineering and corporate governance
• Procurement exposure in Mainland China is preferred
• Knowledgable in using e-procurement system
• Good command of English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
• Occasionally travel to China is required
