Our client is a world renowned investment bank and they are looking for a seasoned sourcing professional to join the China Country Sourcing Team as Associate Director and the role is based in Beijing.

Responsibilities:

• To support the Director of Sourcing in starting up the function in China.
• Assist in developing policies and procedures.
• Manage a wide range of IT and non IT categories.
• Develop initimate stakeholders relationship.
• Deliver and track savings in accordance with the global savings definitiions and methodology.

Qualifications & Experience:

• At least 8+ years experience in strategic sourcing  
• University degree (ideally in economics or Supply Management) or industry experience equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience working in either Beijing or Shanghai.
• Competent in negotiations and contract knowledge
• Excellent communication (written, verbal) and interpersonal skills to positively influence people to make the appropriate decisions for the Bank and resolve conflicts effectively
• Strong oral and written English (mandatory) and Mandarin (mandatory).
• Good project management experience
