Regional Head of Property Management, Executive Director
The Head of Property Management is responsible for the implementation of processes, and resources required in managing the life cycle of all the company’s facilities / critical infrastructure across the Asia Pacific region (Offices, Data Centers, Trading Floors, et al) and in particular all associated building services installed. (Heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical power distribution, UPS, Generator, lighting, fire protection systems, and monitoring & control systems.)
Positioned within the company's Corporate Real Estate & Administrative Services department the incumbent will take full responsibility for all maintenance regimes, due diligence, risk management, condition performance, energy consumption, cost discipline, incident control and event planning associated with the properties / sites ensuring all key performance indicators are comprehensively documented, tracked and reported in accordance with corporate governance.
Most notably, duties include design, acquisition, maintenance, and operational management of building services (M&E) systems and installations associated with Mission Critical Facilities that support the core business to i) ensure maximum uptime / minimum disruption and ii) achieve the most suitable working environment for the company’s personnel and their activities.
The head of property management is also responsible for the overall strategic / long term planning concerning the property portfolio working at executive management level with all the company’s business unit partners managing key relationships and expectations, as well as the day-to-day operations of building services using best practice to improve efficiency, by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.
Additional duties will be required to support engineering project functions such as detailed design review and approval for new M&E installations and auditing of deliverables throughout the course of implementation to ensure quality of workmanship, and adherence to specification.
The ideal candidate should have the following requisites:
- 10+ years broad and proven experience in property maintenance management
- A sound understanding in Building Services Installations (Mechanical, Electrical Architectural Fit Out) to support ICT solutions (Data Centers, Collocates)
- A proven track record in administration of projects, managing consultants and contractors throughout design, construction, testing and commissioning phases
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under own initiative
- Excellent telephone presentation and the ability to take control of project conference calls
- Excellent written and oral communications skills – must be able to formulate comprehensive and precise reports
- The ability to work independently with minimum direction and exercise good judgment in the performance of work
- The ability to work concurrently on a wide variety of sub-projects
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Degree qualification in electrical, mechanical or building services engineering / Chartered or equivalent
- Fluent written and spoken English
